For years now the shadow of “skilled worker shortage” has been looming over the German economy. Organizations fear that gaps will emerge for engineers’ and skilled workers’ jobs. According to the Association of German Engineers, more than 700.000 engineering positions in Germany will have to be filled within a fifteen-year period. However, since 2009 the number of new students majoring in technical subjects has increased by more than 40 percent. The skilled worker shortage – merely a myth? At least this seems to be the case in firms with attractive locations.

People strap into the suit starting with their feet, moving up their body, where hydraulic joints and electric motors are connected to a backpack that powers and controls the system. Eventually, the developers want people wearing the suit to be able to lift 200 pounds, which will increase productivity by allowing workers to easily lift large, heavy pieces of metal.

Extreme Engineering - MegaStructures - Build it Bigger SEASON: 2 EPISODE: 10 - High Risk Tower S02E10 From the skyscrapers of Dubai to the amusement parks of Minnesota, Danny Forster travels the world to break down the most astounding, complex engineering feats to date. In Build It Bigger, airing Tuesdays at 10 p.m. ET/PT starting on July 10, architect Danny Forster takes you inside some of the most head-scratching builds in the world. Join Danny as he meets the men and women tackling the unique challenges of constructing the tallest buildings, the most effective military tanks, the largest luxury cruise ships, and the most extreme thrill rides. How do you build a 3,113-foot-long wooden roller coaster in winter temperatures of minus 40 degrees? Or get your workers safely to and from a worksite on a skyscraper that's 1,614 feet above street level? Or dig a water tunnel — along the San Adreas Fault and 1,000 feet below the earth's surface — without it collapsing on itself ... or flooding? Our intrepid host answers these puzzles and more. Don't miss the big stories behind these even bigger engineering marvels. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- MORE INFORMATION AND VIDEOS -------------------------------------- WEB PAGE--------------------------------------- http://dg-channel.blogspot.com.ar/ -----------------------------------------TWITTER----------------------------------------- DGReviews Twitter: https://twitter.com/DG_Reviews ----------------------------------------FACEBOOK-------------------------------------- DGReviews Official Fan Page: https://www.facebook.com/DGreviews/ -------------------------------------------GMAIL------------------------------------------- For any problem or question: contacto.dgchannel@gmail.com
